A Spoonful of Cheesecake

Paige and I have been looking forward to Thursday night for several months.

After school, we headed to Kansas City.

Our first stop…

My date and I shared a cheese pizza and have lovely conversation.

While we we waited for our food, we enjoyed our view out the window.

Then the grand finale…

After dinner, we headed on to the Kansas City Music Hall for the main event

Soon after I took this picture a very rude usher started yelling at people who were taking pictures.

The show was SO good!  Paige had a little trouble understanding some of the British accents (especially the children) but overall, we both loved the show.

Paige slept through much of the second half of the show but I woke her up several times during particularly wonderful dance scene and such.

What a lovely evening for the two of us!

One of my favorite parts of being a parent is being able to introduce my children to new things and live theater is definitely something we will continue.  Starlight Theater looks like it has several shows we will enjoy this summer!
